EN/ The Glasgow Film Festival, and is committed to supporting Scottish talent and providing audiences with the opportunity to see the best of world cinema. Many films selected through the submission process have played to enthusiastic crowds at Glasgow over the last couple of years and gone on to secure wider distribution. Collaborations and partnerships are key to GFF’s success. Its approach is to present mini festivals within the Festival (Glasgow Short Film Festival, Glasgow Youth Film Festival, Glasgow Music and Film Festival, and Frightfest) that both complement and diversify the programme as a whole – keeping it fresh, attracting new audiences and supporting citywide talent and ideas.
