EN/ Since 1963, The New York Film Festival has continued to bring new and important cinematic works by filmmakers from around the world. The Festival includes Main Slate selections along with special events, panel discussions, the experimental film showcase Views from the Avant-Garde, and much more. The New York Film Festival highlights the best in world cinema, featuring top films from celebrated filmmakers as well as fresh new talent. The selection committee, chaired by Peña also includes: Melissa Anderson, Contributor, The Village Voice; Scott Foundas, Associate Program Director, The Film Society of Lincoln Center; Dennis Lim, Editor, Moving Image Source & Freelance Critic; and Todd McCarthy, Critic indieWire.
