Taiwan International Documentary Festival (Taichung)

EN/ Taiwan International Documentary Festival (TIDF), a biennial established in 1998, is held by the Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan(upgraded to the Ministry of Culture in May 2012). In an effort to build a resource center for Asian documentaries, TIDF is organized permanently by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMOFA) since 2006. TIDF aims to stimulate the exchange of perspectives, promote interactions and dialogues between international and Taiwanese documentary filmmakers, as well as to broaden Taiwanese audience’s horizon. Programs include International Competitions, Non-Competition Programs, Master Classes and Workshops.
