Several villages are massacred by soldiers frightenedand excited by a false rumor: "All Belgians are snipers!"Raymond, a village mayor, tries to avoid all risks. He orders that all firearms be assembled andexposed and that all dogs be killed. Jean, 10 years old, tries to save his dog Max from his father'sbullets.
