When they left Afghanistan, Shahid and Abdul Wali were just 15 and 18 years old. France welcomed them, but could not give them their families back. Fortunately, there was the Soccs, the Saint-Omer Cricket Club Stars, a team composed mainly of Afghans. The rules of cricket are complex but the rules for asylum are even more. Fortunately at the edge of the field some French people encourage the
players in Pashto: "Shabash! Shabash! Come on guys! Come on!". A film full of smiles and facetiousness. A real shot of good humor.
