After five years traveling to learn his trade as a chef, Antoine returns to Liège with theintention of opening his own restaurant. But his return turns out to be more complicatedthan he bargained for. His mother's health has declined further. Antoine is confrontedby his remorse. He thinks of Camille, the woman he once loved who is also the motherof their little girl Elsa, whom he has never met. He decides to go and see her, but whenhe knocks on the door, Camille is just leaving on an important business trip. She iswaiting for the baby-sitter who is late. Camille panics that she'll miss her plane, andasks Antoine to wait for the baby-sitter. Unable to refuse, Antoine agrees. He is far fromimagining that the baby-sitter will never turn up and that he will find himself alone,face to face with his daughter for three hot summer days.
