Early one summer morning a young man carrying a heavy duffel bag emerges fromthe forest. Entering the little village of Schandelsmillen he asks around for work,but the villagers are not very forthcoming. After meeting the mayor’s daughter andspending a night with her, the villagers’ attitude suddenly changes. He is offered ajob and a caravan to live in. When two policemen pass through the village lookingfor a man implicated in a casino robbery, they fail to recognise him. He fig-ures hehas found the perfect cover - were it not for that lingering sensation that somethingis not quite right.
