François Hien

Hana's father – 32 years old, born and raised in Auvergne – is an Iraki politologue in exile for 40 years, and transmitted his inclination for policy. Hana interrupted her studies in 2003 to get involved into struggle against US invasion of Irak, the country she considers as her's. Inverting roles, she takes her father back into the adventure, in settling into Cairo, discovering arabic world she was not familiar with before.When I meet her six years after that, her life is still in state of emergency, her private life is sacrificed for Baghdad, a city she never went which could be here, there or somewhere else.
