Following a call from his mother's retirement home, Baptiste, 40 years old, joined Carpentras by car. His mother is in very critical condition. Baptiste has not visited her for several months. When he got there, the EHPAD employees told him that because of the security measures linked to the health crisis, they did not know when he would be able to see his mother. Between guiltiness and immobilism, Baptiste finds himself waiting, in a city he no longer knows, staying in a small hotel and spending his day in the streets and at the supermarket.
