In the Anneessens neighbourhood in Brussels, the non-profit organisation Convivence has been fighting against inadequate housing for over 30 years, in the face of an increasingly inaccessible property market for those without financial stability. Welfare officers and architects support renters and homeowners on modest incomes in their struggle for more suitable housing and a place in their transforming neighbourhood. Beyond individual situations, the film looks to the future of Brussels. Who will be able to live in the city of tomorrow – and at what price, and breathing what air?
