They experienced persecution, loss, misery, and exile. They managed to survive and to build a new life. A life where it would be possible to be happy, in a normal happiness. Now Helga, 82 years old, and Jan, 66 years old, live in the same neighbourhood of the center of Brussels where today refugees arrive. NOUS/AUTRES is a journey through the story of their lives and through their present. A present where also lives the other, refugee, immigrant. He lives in the same city, the same neighbourhood, the same street. The other is a silent witness, the one whom we talk about but we ignore.
