Pigmaleón is a film about movement – of bodies and souls, of a moving puppet and its creator, of film animation and dance.

A stop motion animation film director, with a look of rough wood, carves, makes and dresses a photo-realistic puppet and uses it to act in front of the camera. The director shows the movements in advance here and then animates the dancing puppet, interpreted by the dancer and comedienne, Emmanuelle Vincent from the t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e company, to the sound of music by Jorge Piquer. As the movements that the director demonstrates to the puppet gain momentum, they blend with the choreography, and we lose track of who is miming who. Then th ey swing like a couple performing a dance of seduction.
