It's June 1880 and Vincent has shared the painful everyday life of the minors for almost a year and a half. Depressed, he searches for consolation through drawing. His isolation drives him day by day to muteness and solitude. While at his lowest point, he realizes that, despite the handful of pontiffs that excommunicated him, the crowd, on the other hand, support him. In front of his house, a sunflower seed that he sowed accidentally starts to germinate. His calling as a painter becomes inescapable to him.
