"Ex Utero” will have its World Premiere in Warsaw!
Lili Forestier’s documentary “Ex Utero” will have its world premiere at the Warsaw International Film Festival!
In 2009, the Warsaw Film Festival became one of the 14 events recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations as one of the most important international film festivals, alongside Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, etc. The WFF program is divided into five competitive sections and five non-competitive sections.
For its 2024 edition, the WFF has selected Lili Forestier's Ex Utero for its world premiere in the festival's Special Screenings section. The documentary is produced by Nébuleuses ASBL and co-produced by the CBA.
"Ex Utero" navigates between the history of gynecology and contemporary testimonies.
Before us, responding to centuries of practices, women testify to one common experience: having been confronted one day with gynecological mistreatment.
Also noteworthy is the presence of French-speaking Belgian co-productions Les Enfants Rouges by Lotfi Achour (Versus Production, Creme de la Creme competition) and Traffic by Teodora Ana Mihai (Les Films du Fleuve, International Competition).
Let's also mentionLes Fantômes by Jonathan Millet (Hélicotronc, Creme de la Creme competition) and Hors d’haleine by Eric Lahmène (Artémis, Competition 1-2).
See you in Warsaw from October 11 to 20, 2024!
