Two Wallonia-Brussels productions selected at Hot Docs!
The Canadian documentary festival Hot Docs starts on April 27. Among the films presented this year are two Wallonia-Brussels productions.
This year, two Wallonia Brussels films have been chosen to be presented during this prestigious festival: Algorithms of Beauty by Miléna Trivier, produced by the non-profit association Bruits, and Money, Freedom, a Story of CFA Franc by Katy Léna N'diaye, produced by Neon Rouge Production. These two films have been selected in non-competitive sections.
The Katy Léna N'diaye feature-length film Money, Freedom, a Story of CFA Franc, presented for the first time in North America, is included in the World Showcase section. This documentary was premiered in Amsterdam last November during the IDFA.
Meanwhile, Miléna Trivier’s short film Algorithms of Beauty has been selected in the Artscapes Shorts Program section. This film was premiered at Ji.Hlava in October 2022.
