Groups of men and children seem almost motionless in the face of what is initially happening off-screen. In this tangle of streets and buildings, men take positions. “Ramallah, Palestine, December 2018” bears witness to the occupation of Palestinian territory in a sequence that unfolds and then comes full circle.
Let’s also highlight the presence of the French-speaking Belgian co-productions, both financially supported by the CCA, Scars of a Putsch by Nathalie Borgers (Novak Prod, Backstory) and The Eukrainian by Viktor Nordenskiöld (Domino Production, F:ACT).
See you in Denmark from March 19 to 30, 2025.
