"Sol Béni" selected at Tribeca!
Tristan Feres and Maky Margaridis' short film will be part of the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival lineup
The Tribeca Film Festival is renowned for being an international festival of diverse films that supports both emerging and established filmmakers. The festival aims to connect the international film community and the general public while promoting the city of New York.
This year, the American festival has selected Sol Béni by Tristan Feres and Maky Margaridis in its Shorts section. The film, produced by JAK Production, was already selected at the Brussels Short Film Festival last April. It will have its international premiere at Tribeca.
Faced with the prospect of an imminent farewell, two friends meet again on the soccer field where they grew up. While one is about to leave, the other is immersed in the nostalgia of days gone by. "Sol Béni" captures this delicate moment when a friendship knows it is condemned.
