"Yuku and the flower of the Himalayas" distributed in over 10 countries !

As Arnaud Demuynck's latest film continues its successful festival career, the list of territories where the film has been sold continues to grow.

As it continues its successful festival career since its world premiere in June at the Annecy International Film Festival, Arnaud Demuynck's latest film, co-directed with Remi Durin, achieves first sales in foreign territories. Already announced in Switzerland (Outside Box), the Netherlands (Jef/Periscoop), Belgium (Le Parc) and France (Gebeka Distribution) with a release date of October 19th, New Europe Film Sales has unveiled the list of new territories that have acquired the animated feature. The film will soon be available in Germany (Eksystent Distribution), Spain and Andorra (Pack Magic), Poland (Stowarzyszenie Nowe Horyzonty), Sweden (Smorgasbord Picture House), Denmark (Angel Films) and Latvia (Riga International Film Festival Distribution).

In terms of festivals, the film was recently presented at the Locarno Film Festival last month, and at the Montreuil Film Festival and will be presented next month at the Ghent Film Festival (Belgium), then at Cinekid in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and finally at Filem'On in Brussels (Belgium).

Produced by Artemis Productions and La Boîte,... Productions, the film was funded by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The feature film follows the journey of a little music-loving mouse. 

On top of the highest mountains lives a plant of eternal light, the Himalayan flower. Yuku wants to give it to her grandmother. Her journey is full of obstacles. She has to cross the little bridge of fear guarded by the wolf! Through her music and songs, Yuku makes many friends, the most precious ingredient for succeeding in the adventure of life.
