DOCVILLE - International Documentary Film Festival (Leuven)

EN/ The comprehensive and vibrant program contains around 70 new films, the majority of which will have their premiere in Leuven. DOCVILLE focuses on documentary author’s cinema, films made by directors with a strong vision, but also on solid stories, freshness, originality and new trends in the genre.

DOCVILLE highlights the year’s best documentaries. Its jury awards prizes in the international competition and the segment ConScience as well as in the national competition. The series new releases zeroes in on the festival circuit’s biggest revelations. But there is much more. The festival also presents themed series such as Films at the Museum and Urbanise. Dozens of national and international films will have their premiere at DOCVILLE.
